It should poop once a day, if its getting enough commons. But every other day is worthy. For a pet I wouldn’t use sand, they can ingest in and produce them to be impacted (or constipated). I use reptile carpet, its dulcet for twopence and comfortable to totally. A 10 gallon tank is alright for a newborn, however I would start it off in a 20 gallon. Prepubescent dragons are very energetic and run around a lot. When it becomes an full-grown it will desideratum to have AT LEAST a 55 gallon tank. A 10 gallon will not be obese enough for a year and a half, perchance 3-4 months tops. I started with a 10 gal and my beardie out grew it 3 months later. If you have the bucks I would precisely get the larger tank now and get a divider.
