Does Tetra Reptomin Baby turtle pellet food have too much protein for a baby Red Eared Slider? Pyramiding?

I heard that tetra Reptomin infant was one of the best foods to give baby red eared sliders, so I bought a can. I've been feeding my turtle around 4 to 6 pellets a day (what he eats in 3 minutes) and I noticed that his shot is kind of lifting in the middle. I searched online
Variety is important in the diet. I use several brands of pellets, added to vegies and other foods.

1.You stress the larger tank, you can initial yield.
