Reptile Sand - Reptile Supplies

What type of sand do you use for a bearded dragons viverium? Reptile sand or can I use a cheaper version?

I have seen the figure of the sand and it is very expensive as it has to be replaced every week. I was just wondering if there was a cheaper interpretation or could i use a different type of sand for them?


i use the vita sand. and i dont renew it weekly, but i do CLEAN it weekly. just as you would a cat box, scoop up the poo. and i be versed this is okay for them because i've had my dragon for 3 years now and i do change his sand every couple of months, but not weekly. i also

Ok, here is the aspect: My wife naive Yemen has started to show a wanton cutting down helmet and weaknesses of mind along its body, which, by my reading, etc. suggests that it came into egglaying approach? I intend? So unable to prepare it for this outfit I put a faunarium PlaySand filled in the bottom of the viv in classification that can lay it if she needs ......

Ok, here's the aspect:  My pubescent Yemen female has started showing a downcast edged Casque and dizzy crestfallen spots along her carcass, which according to my reading etc suggests she is coming into egglaying rage?   I entertain the idea?  So in requirement to forge for this obliged as it I placed a faunarium filled with PlaySand in the bottom of the viv in classify that she can lay if she needs to... anyway I was watching her bearing and saw her firstly send to the gallows upside down by her shadow to within a millimetre of the sand and gently flick her parlance against it, (I was alarmed at this as I recollect it could barricade her digestive system and considered compelling the sand out;) next she clambered down onto the top of the sand, started to dig and then turned her fully sidelong and scooped a niggardly amount of sand into her access - she did this a duo of times, started to dig and then lewd what she was doing and returned to her beloved lounging...
