Four years after its liquidation, Alexander Handy still affects the lives of his family, friends and the people of his hometown.
The thin and dynamic "free spirit" everyone called Alex loved football, fishing with his father, rap music and down to watch cartoons disturbing late night with his little brother Christopher.
"Alex always goes out of stood out," recalled his old lady, Ann-Marie Handy. "He finally landed his own pace."
Relaxing in his living quarters Medway, she remembered Alex bleach the tips of his hair blond to look even cooler."He was not agitated blue again," she said, smiling.
On June 10, 2006, AT Alex was hit by a car while riding his bicycle without a helmet a few blocks from his deeply Lee Lane. Transported by ambulance to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, 13-year-old seventh grader died that evening.
Who lives in California, moved east to be closer to his family, husband Richard and their jobs, treads close to pain, which varies in intensity and duration, but never disappears.
