I exactly bought a 2.5 Mini-Bow tank at walmart after an exigency from my fish fighting in my 7 month old 5 gal tank. I just wanted a unpretentious tank for my one lyre tail molly and the whisper filter is loud as Tophet. Its brand new. I took it apart and rinsed it out. Nothing

try to bring up the water level, as well as putting water into the filter itself
if it doesn't have Facetious Adam's ale in the chamber, it won't work properly, and will usually make the disturbance circulate

My old filter I became a cacophonous cute absolute return. When I received the "Whisper" filter on my car, it was stronger than the old filter!I'm promoting this filter for you (1) if you are indifferent, (2) insensitive to the hearing, or (3) never set foot in neighborhoods cabin aquarium is in.

'whisper' filter is 'yelling'!

Okay, so I was dismaying with the humming touched off from my whisper HOB filter that came with the 10 gallon kit I bought. So I bought the whisper 10i filter, after reading that internal filters are the tucker bet for a quiescent filter. Also I could put the bio bag and separate out into the 10i from the HOB, they are bang on the same. Set it up, plugged it in, and yeah, blessed quietude. I phoned Big Als yesterday and they said they would interchange it, that will have to be delayed about 2 weeks until I am in the town again. In the meantime, Schubert has a folded blanket sitting on top of the lid of his tank to refrain from absorb the secure! I will have to dealing the filters on two break to pieces trips so that he always has a filter present, at least the bio bags are exchangeable from one to the other. So I took back the HOB whisper, and exchanged it with no problems. They even tested it out at the set aside to see if they could fix it and could only testify to that it was unusually showy!
