Im getting my elfin brother a 10 gallon tank and want to guide him to take care of the the tank himself since im off to college soon and wont be masterful to clean it myself often. I saw these and was wondering if these would be a better alternative for him than the traditional
You're a enthusiastic brother. You should check out the battery operated gravel vac I linked below. It is excellent. You should also enlighten your brother how to do water changes and how to monitor all the water parameters. 10 y/o is not too girlish. That's how old I was

Im getting my friend just a 10 gallontank and use it to show the solicitude of the shell itself from im in college and ultimately will not be able to myself often spotless. I saw these and I wondered if they would choose for him surpass the usual not to mention easier to use.
