Is a 40 gallon breeder tank large enough for an adult bearded dragon?

I paucity to get one (have had 2 before) but I want to be fair to it and make sure it has enough room. Thoughts from other dragon fans, please
40 gal is like the littlest. The larger, the better.
Check your local Petco. Mine is event a sale this week where tanks are selling for $1/gal. You can secure a lot of moolah buying a large tank!
